A Fun, Refreshing Treats for the Tipsy Adult
Boozy Otter Pops is a rebrand project that caters towards the 21+ demographic instead of children. Boozy Otter Pops is a new product that provides the 21+ kid-at-heart a refreshing, alcoholic treat.
Concept
I wanted to create a new product branded by Otter Pops that can be enjoyed by adults 21+.
The packaging for the Original Otter Pops stands out with simple illustrations of otters and it’s signature red and blue stripes. The new package design still has the look and feel of the original, but has a more modern approach to it. Silhouette cutouts of each otter character was used to represent the new flavors with red and blue stripes now on the interior.
The triangular design for the ice pop itself was done to add a new look and uniqueness to Boozy Otter Pops. The pull tab to open the plastic is still in the shape of an otter.
The package is able to transform into a more geometric shape when put in the freezer. When on the go, the handle pulls up and the package converts to a more portable shape.
